how to reset at&t uverse box

AT&T’s U-verse service offers TV programming, telephone service, and high-speed Internet access through a single router. If you require accessing the router to make changes to your network, connect your pc to its network, and then navigate to the router’s web interface.

How to reset at&t u-verse box
1.       There's a hardware reset button on it. You would press and hold that for several seconds, all the status lights must flash red then it reboots.
2.       Although first, before doing that, just unplug it, leave it unplugged for about 15-20 minutes, and then plug it back in. There's also a gateway web management tool (192.168.1.254).  There're directions on the AT&T web site (support/internet) for all models of gateway they offer.
3.       If an easy power down and restart doesn’t fix it, you really should use the ATT web support site or call them prior you start altering settings in the web control panel (unless you really know what you're doing).

To manually reset your router:
Unplug the power wire to your router for 15 seconds and so plug it back into the electrical outlet.
Wait 30 seconds and so check to see if this resolves the difficulty. If you still have the issue, follow the steps below to reset your Set-Top Box. How to fix at&t outage map & att activate problems.

To manually reset Set-Top Box:
1.       Firstly, unplug the power cord to your Set-Top Box from the electrical outlet for 15 seconds and then plug it back in.
Note: Don't confuse the power wire that provides electricity to your Set-Top Box with the coaxial cable that's connected to the rear of your Set-Top Box. Unplugging the coaxial cable won't reset your Set-Top Box. Since many problems can happen if your coaxial cable is not securely fastened, now would be a good time to check to make sure all connections are securely connected.
2.       Wait for the time to appear on the front of the Set-Top Box, and then power it on.
3.       Wait many minutes whereas the Interactive Media Guide updates.
4.       Check to see if this resolves the trouble. If you continue facing the problem, your Set-Top Box may need to be re-initialized. Contact the Fiber Solutions Customer Support for further help.

If you reset your Set-Top Box more than three times a week, it is likely there is a problem with your Set-Top Box that requires to be fixed. Contact the att.net email login for more at&t live chat help.
