Method of Contact
When you schedule an appointment, you'll be able to choose
to receive notifications from Spectrum by email, text message and call
(message, data and calling rates to apply). You can also manage your
communication preferences by sign in into your account. Learn more about

Important Information
1.
You will get your first notification after you
schedule the appointment.
2.
You'll require confirming your appointment for
certain services. They'll let you know when this is the case and how you can
confirm.
3.
If you choose to receive confirmations via
email, you'll need to confirm with a phone call. You can't confirm by replying
to the email.
4.
You may not opt-out of appointment reminders. You
will receive a phone call by default if you don't select a preferred method of
contact.
Day Before
They'll contact you the day before a scheduled appointment
using your most well-liked communication method (phone, email or text).
If you prefer to receive a phone call, we'll make two
attempts to contact you.
If you confirm your appointment the day before the
appointment, they won't contact you the day of the appointment to confirm
again.
Day Of
If they're unable to confirm your appointment the day
before, we'll contact you on the day of the appointment.
If needed, we'll make two attempts to confirm your
appointment on the day of.
Someone over the age of 18 with a valid government-issued ID
will need to be present for the appointment.
Installations usually take 1 to 3 hours to complete, and
service calls usually take 1 hour to complete.
General Information
1.
Be sure any home security alarm systems are
turned off throughout the service appointments.
2.
The technician will install 1 telephone jack
free of cost.
3.
Extra telephone jacks are subject to a fee and
require to be added to your work order before to installation.
4.
The technician will make sure that all telephone
jacks used together with your previous provider are working upon completion of
the service visit.
Battery Backup
In the situation of a power outage, Spectrum Voice customers
will not be able to make or receive calls (including 911 calls). A battery
backup option may enable customers to make or receive calls provided the
Spectrum plant is operational during a power outage. A backup battery can be
bought directly from us for a one-time fee of $60. Please contact spectrum pay bill service to
order your backup battery.
